Description
The Evora are a race of extremely small humanoids that became an official Federation protectorate in 2375, only one year after their first warp flight. Despite their puppet-like appearance and their low height, that is even emphasized by their roundish faces and their plump build, the Evora are a self-assured species that is proud to be a member of the "big family" of the Federation. From a long way off, the Evora look similiar to humanoid turtles due to their gristly faces, the greenish pigmentation on the head and the hands and the big back shell belonging to the normal clothes; however, they are much more human than they seem to be. The body systems and sense organs resemble those of other humanoids in shape, apperance and size; merely the long ear lobes and the fishy skin are peculiar. Nearly nothing is known about the inner physiology of the Evora, as well as the life cycle and the social structure of this species. It was even unknown for a long time that they are strict vegetarians, leading to the  situation that the flowery arrangements were eaten by them. However, despite their low technical stage of development, they are not primitive at all: the Evora are an intelligent, tolerant species that is very good-natured and has a distinctive group consciousness.
