History -
2367 Construction of the USS Sutherland in the San Francisco Fleet Yards,Earth. Stardate 44820.5 The USS Sutherland is commissioned in the San Francisco Starfleet Yards. The Sutherland flies to starbase 324 with a core crew, where the final staff occupation and further tests are planned. -
Log -
2368 Stardate 45020.4 During the Klingon Civil War, the USS Sutherland is allocated to Captain Picard's armada of 20 ships and the command is temporarily assigned to Lt. Cmd. Data. The goal is to disclose the Romulan supply ships which have secretly delivered weapons to the house of Duras with the intention to destroy the alliance of the Federation and the Klingon Empire. After the fleet hasn't succeeded in disclosing the Romulan near the Romulan border, the Sutherland keeps her position as the sole ship of the fleet in order to analyze strange sensor readings. Finally, the Sutherland manages to decloak the Romulan warbirds, which consequently stop their illegal support for the Klingons and return to Romulus. 2374 Stardate 51411 After the retake of Deep Space Nine, the USS Sutherland is permanently stationed at Deep Space Nine as a part of the 9th fleet. -
